Valet And Loud Music Banned On Mar Mikhael’s Main Street

Patrons of Mar Mikhael pubs and rooftops were surprised this past weekend when they were met with no valet services and significantly lowered music volumes on Armenia Street.

The enforcement of this decision comes after months of pleading from some residents in the area who have continuously complained about noise pollution and insane traffic. A few even took to hanging posters and banners criticizing the noise levels from their balconies.

Disorganized valet services often created chaos on the narrow street, bringing traffic to a complete half during most weekends.

Establishments have also been asked to turn off all music at 1 AM.
