The beloved Manara restaurant
Lamb House has announced that it is set to open its first branch abroad in Dubai, UAE.
Open in Beirut since 1971 and famous for its freshly made traditional Lebanese food and old school decor, this spot is a favorite among many.
The Dubai branch is to be named “house by lamb house” and it will serve up Lebanese classics as well as dishes it gained popularity for such as burgers and chicken escalope.
This comes just a couple of weeks after the beloved
Lebanese snack Barbar announced that it would be opening branches across Dubai, Saudi, and Qatar – signaling a major food and beverage move to the Gulf from Lebanon. For the time being, these restaurants have stated that they would be remaining in Lebanon.
All this at a time in which Lebanon is going through a horrific economic and financial crisis, one that has left businesses and citizens desperate and has no seeming end in sight.
