Minister Raoul Nehme Wants A Thank You For Doing His Job

This tells you a whole lot about the minister himself and the entire political ruling class in Lebanon. In their world of celebrity and fame, an action doesn’t exist unless people clap for them. Someone remind his excellency that his job is one of public servitude. Let’s all tweet the minister photos of all the obscene prices at supermarkets using the hashtag #ThanksRaoul.
Now, one more thing. I didn’t litter yesterday – did anyone say thank you? I made my bed – did anyone say thank you? I did the bare minimum that my job requires – did anyone say thank you?
