One day after Mohammad Safadi was
nominated for Prime Minister, his name was retracted and the rumors were soon shut down.
In response, a hilarious group of protestors from Tripoli printed out an obituary, celebrating Safadi’s extremely short-lived government.
Loosely translated, the obituary reads:
“With joy and pleasure, the protestors of Lebanon are mourning the death of their deceased: Mohammad Safadi’s government, who passed away before being born.
Father: Gebran Bassil
Mother: Presidential settlements
Daughter: Violette Khairallah
Siblings: Political parties and the symbols of corruption
Congratulations will be received on Sunday November 17, 2019.
Please replace all wreaths with the hela ho chant.
