9 Stunning Seaside Restaurants To Dine At This Weekend

Food tastes better when it’s eaten by the sea. Here are some excellent restaurants around the country, perfect for a weekend sunset dinner with a stunning view of the deep blue.

Al Sultan Brahim in Jounieh

Serving some of the best seafood that Lebanon has to offer since 1961, Al Sultan Brahim’s Jounieh branch has long been a favorite among locals for its reliable quality and delicious seafood. You’re sure to leave with a happy stomach after every seafood feast at this culinary gem.

Babel Bahr in Amchit or Babel Bay at Zaitounay Bay

Known for its delicious shrimp fatte dish, Babel in Amchit and Beirut both offer world-class seafood with a Lebanese twist. Both restaurants have stunning views of the sea, one from the North and one from the heart of Beirut – so take your pick, and head to Babel for a seriously scrumptious seafood feast and seaview.

Chez Sami in Jounieh

Highly renowned Lebanese and seafood restaurant Chez Sami has been one of the most trusted restaurants to go to in Lebanon for a fantastic seafood meal since it opened a couple decades ago. Sami himself was a sailor and caterer with an affinity for seafood – so the family-owned business made its mark last for knowing just how to cater to its clientele’s cravings. It’s authentically Lebanese but modern, too – and the sea view is panoramic. They also have what many people refer to as the best fattoush in the country, so be sure to order it and see if you agree!

Feluka Seafood Restaurant and Wine Bar at Sporting Club Beach in Beirut

Our favorite Beirut beach also offers delectable Lebanese food and seafood at their two restaurants – The Deck Cafe and Feluka. For a more casual dining experience, sit at The Deck, where you’ll be overlooking the sea and pools below. For a more fine-dining experience, go to Feluka, with an equally impressive view of the sea. Pick your fish at the front door or stick to a traditional Lebanese meal filled with mezze, or even go for a juicy burger – and wait to be blown away by the delicious freshness and the pretty view.

June Beach House in Amchit

For a casual beach meal with a stunning view of the sea, June Beach House in Amchit is a perfect seaside retreat. Feast on some nachos, halloumi skewers, pasta dishes, or a scrumptious burger while you sip on a cocktail and get lost in June Beach’s perfect sea breeze. When you’re done eating, walk down to the shore and have your own Little Mermaid moment on one of their perfectly perched rocks.

Punta del Este in Jounieh

With excellent cocktails and delicious food, Punta del Este is a picture perfect seaside restaurant on the coast of Jounieh. Their menu is extensive and will satisfy any and all of your cravings – from tacos to ceviche, grilled calamari to jumbo shrimps, and juicy steaks to lamb chops, the food at this restaurant does not disappoint. Enjoy the good food, the salty air, and a cocktail or a glass of wine while you relish the beauty of the sea before you and the pool behind you. Try to reserve for sunset for an extra special dining experience!

Jammal Restaurant in Batroun

Feast on a heavenly seafood meal while your toes dangle in the Mediterranean Sea at this Lebanese culinary escape. Jammal, on Lebanon’s north coast, is known for its absolutely delicious seafood – including fresh octopus and freshly caught fish. Pass by here for a day of dining on the sea’s best offerings while feeling the sea waves crash on your feet. This place redefines what it is to have a sea view.

Chez Fouad in Anfeh

For a party vibe while feasting on some delicious food, Chez Fouad is the place for you. Nestled in Ta7t el Ri7, Anfeh’s picturesque little strip of heaven – this Lebanese gem is an experience to be had. Order your fresh fish the way you like it, or some mashewe and Arak, and enjoy the feel-good beach tunes playing in the background as you prepare to indulge in an otherworldly feast while being surrounded by the bright blue Anfeh sea.

The Joining in Batroun

The most casual of all of these destinations, The Joining is a different kind of seaside dining experience. It’s perfect for when you can’t decide if you want to have a beach day or lunch day, because it offers a little bit of adventure with the promise of good food. Pack your beach bags, head to their hideaway in Batroun, and ask to reserve a table for later once you get enough of the sun and the sea. Once you’re seated, you’ll enjoy an up-close and personal sea experience – so much so, in fact, that you might get splashed by sprinkles of waves crashing on the rocks below as you feast on your favorite fish. Their bizri is out of this world, so be sure to ask if it’s available!
