Oyster lovers, rejoice! Mothershucker is the all the rage in Mar Mikhael. With a raw bar that boasts Scottish salmon sashimi, yellowtail Peruvian ceviche, ahi tuna poke, red snapper carpaccio, and fresh scallops, your inner seafood lover is bound to be overwhelmed with joy at Mothershucker. The main attraction is their wide variety of oysters at the oyster bar, where you can choose from English, Japanese, and even champagne poached oysters. The drinks menu is equally impressive. If you’re feeling adventurous, try their ‘Irish Sailor’, a whiskey oyster marriage that includes lemon, balsamic brine, Irish whiskey, dry ice, orange blossom spray, salt, and yes, an oyster. Equally adventurous is the ‘Mary Shucker’, complete with lemon, bloody mary mix, a Russian Standard infused oyster, tomato juice, and smoked mesquite. We know this all sounds a bit overwhelming, but it is all equally delicious. The staff is extremely welcoming, and the general vibe leaves clientele feeling contagiously upbeat vibes. Even if you don’t like oysters, the cocktail menu is seriously impressive, with the catchiest names around. From their rum-based drink ‘Swimming in Denial’, to their vodka-infused cocktail ‘Her Silk Dress’; you’re sure to leave this place feeling good. Cheers to that!
