Synopsis:
I, Dana Mikhail, 27 years old, born in Beirut from a German mother and a Lebanese father, living between these two worlds, disarmed, anchorless, facing every second’s possibilities, feeling powerless in making choices and standing still under the ticking sun and changing moon.

She, Medea, daughter, sister, woman, wife and mother, loves without fear, becomes an outsider in both matriarchal and patriarchal worlds, disillusioned, betrayed, stranded, trapped, torn. She is Jason’s stepping-stone to power, she, who annihilates and demolishes in a blind quest for justice; she, ground zero.

In a court of justice a woman is being put on trial, broadcast live, convicted of fratricide, homicide, infanticide and filicide, regicide, prostitution, sorcery, terrorism, treason.

Her plea takes us from the first Medea, the Myth, through the Medeas of History, across time, to finally “land” and reach out for Medea-Now, in a process of holography, of transformation, of layers unveiling until transparency, a ritual of demystification, at the end of which I, Dana, the woman artist and human being stand.
