Invitation to International Women’s Day event (IWD)

IWSAW, in collaboration with its partners, invites you to the International Women’s Day event on ‘Language and Gender’, which will be held at LAU- Safadi Fine Arts building in the Sheikh Zayed Exhibition Hall, on Tuesday 7th of March at 6 p.m.

The event will include a panel discussion, a living library (to clarify: a living library is composed of persons rather than books, each of whom will represent a topic related to Gender and Language- The audience will select topics they are interested in and go around asking questions to the volunteers/living library individuals), followed by a reception.

Finally, we will announce the winners of the Art Competition. Each winner will give a 2-3 min presentation on their artwork and its meaning.
