Etching Techniques Workshop

Etching Techniques workshop focuses on two major types of printmaking methods: Intaglio and Relief printing, using respectively zinc plates and linoleum blocks.

The Intaglio sessions include:
– Etching technique with a drypoint
– Etching technique using soft/hard ground and a mordant
– Inking and printing using an A3 press
*Intaglio will be experimented on zinc plates

The Relief printing sessions include:
– Transferring an image into a linoleum block
– Using tools and learning how to carve linoleum blocks
– Inking and printing using an A3 press
*Relief printing will be experimented on linoleun blocks
