Lebanese-Mexican artist Blu Fiefer is set to release her debut album, ‘Villain Bala Cause’, on Thursday, April 24, 2025. The album follows several singles that have gained attention, including ‘Sharaf’ featuring Palestinian rapper Mehrak, ‘Nazele Big Champagne’, and ‘Ghtayta’.
The album opens with ‘Ya Baba’, a modern take on the Arab classic ‘Sidi Mansour’, and features a mix of Arabic hip hop, pop, electronic synths, and Afrobeat influences. At its core is the track ‘Villain Bala Cause’ (Manifesto), which ties the album’s themes together. The lead single ‘Hizzi’ blends Arabic pop with hip hop and is expected to be a standout track.
Blu Fiefer wrote, produced, mixed, and recorded the album from her studio in Beirut, under the guidance of her label Ma Fi Budget. The project took four years to complete and reflects her diverse musical influences. She has performed songs from the album live in Beirut, Dubai, Paris, Berlin, and Switzerland, and plans an official album tour in spring 2025.
Early singles from the album have already reached over a million streams and gained traction on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
