In a thrilling celebration of talent, rhythm, and relentless dedication, the dance couple — Jean Chaccour and Tia Saad — have just claimed first place at a national qualifying dance competition. Last November, the pair nabbed the national title for Latin, Ballroom, and 10Dance. They are now readying themselves for the national championship happening at the end of this year!
They previously repped Lebanon in Yerevan, Armenia at the World 10 Dance championship back in November of 2024. Coached by Jean-Pierre Dib of Nameless Dance Academy, the duo have been well-recognized in the various competitions they’ve been a part of.
Known for their undeniable chemistry and razor-sharp technique, the duo wowed judges and audiences alike in the Latin, 10Dance, and Ballroom categories, each of which combined artistry, precision, and a whole lot of passion. Their performances were met with roaring applause and high scores, placing them at the top of a fiercely competitive lineup.
Jean and Tia most recently placed fifth and reached the finals in Rising Stars Latin which took place in Ankara just a couple of months ago. The pair stood out with their impeccable chacha, combining fun and artistry!
Trained at the Mont la Salle, they’ve spent the past three years perfecting their craft together — from long rehearsals to back-to-back competitions — and it’s all paid off.
Up next? The national championship, where they’ll compete for the nation-wide title against the best couples from across the country. With their recent victory under their belt, all eyes will be on Tia and Jean as they take the stage.
Whether you’re a longtime dance fan or just love rooting for homegrown talent, keep these two on your radar.
