Happening This Week: Souk El Fan (March 7-8, 2025)

Who else is obsessed with community markets? Those who frequent places like Souk El Tayeb or keep track of Le marché aux puces pop-up vintage markets need to know about the upcoming edition of Souk El Fan!

Taking place on March 7 and 8 from 6 PM until 12 AM at the Beirut Art Center, Souk El Fan is kickstarting a ceramics edition of their popular market.

This new edition will showcase the works of 22 ceramic artists (which are also up for grabs if you find something you like!). This includes beautifully crafted cups, bowls, vases, plates, and more.

The event will also feature unique collaborations between five illustrators and five ceramic artists, resulting in an exclusive collection.

On the 7th, the souk will host a live jam session, while DJ Hot Ice Cream will handle the event’s music. The following night, DJ Livia Caruso and TrafiqueHariri will take over to close the event.
