Founded in 1990 by the Union of Theatre Activists of the USSR, the Moscow Ballet of Classical Choreography is bringing Tchaikovsky’s iconic ballet composition to life.
The timeless ballet that tells the story of Prince Siegfried, who falls in love with Odette, a princess cursed to live as a swan by day and a woman by night. The curse, cast by the evil sorcerer Rothbart, can only be broken by true love.
Siegfried pledges his love to Odette, but Rothbart tricks him into declaring his love for Odile, Rothbart’s daughter, who is disguised as Odette.
