Four Lebanese bloggers have been shortlisted for the prestigious 1B Award, a content creation award that celebrates impactful storytelling that drives positive change.
The winner will be announced at the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the largest gathering for content creators in Dubai. The event will be taking place on January 11, 12, and 13, 2025.
The four shortlisted creators for Lebanon are Abir Saghir, Hasan Raad, Al Hashim, and Tarzan. Amidst enemy aggressions against Lebanese territories, these creators not only used their platform to raise awareness but also support displaced families across Lebanon.
By leveraging their significant social media followings, they organized fundraisers, shared verified resources, and provided essential aid to the displaced.
From delivering food and clothing to offering housing solutions, their joint campaign showcased the power of digital platforms in mobilizing communities for a cause. Their efforts brought tangible relief to those affected by the war and highlighted the solidarity of the Lebanese people.
Their efforts are the reason their campaign was shortlisted for this prestigious award, with a $1 million prize at stake. Proud to see these content creators use their platforms to support Lebanon!
