Want to Read All Our Old Content? Jump in This Time Machine Feature!

Did you know that Beirut.com was born in 2002? We’ve been around for quite some time, but our content creation journey actually started in December 2011, making us Lebanon’s first-ever guide. If you’re curious about what kind of content we were posting from 2011 until today, our website actually has a “Time Machine” feature that lets you do just that!

Beirut.com takes pride in the community it has built organically over the years, and our platforms witnessed the most growth after we joined Instagram in 2014, then launched our Arabic website in 2017. We’ve been sharing all the things we love to 780k+ followers across our platforms, so let’s show you how you can go back in time and browse all the content we’ve been posting since 2011.

Where can you find the content timeline?

You can follow this link so that you can be redirected to the timeline, but if you want to learn how to find it yourself, here’s how to do it.

1. Head over to our homepage where you’ll find all the latest articles. When you scroll past the latest articles, you’ll find “See more!” at the bottom before reaching the Editor’s Pick section.

Click on it to reach the timeline feature!

2. Once you reach the timeline feature, you’ll see a bunch of years and months listed under the header. You can scroll from right to left to view everything from 2011 until 2024 (so far).

3. Select the year you want to go back in time to, then choose the month. And that’s it. You can start scrolling through the content posted during that period!

Why do we have a timeline feature?

We created this feature so that we can show our audience the kind of content we’ve been creating over the years. What was the hottest burger place back in 2018? What was taking over headlines across the country in 2012? What memes were trending on Twitter back in 2014?

As our platform grow, so does Lebanon. Think of our timeline feature as an archive of some sort. Or maybe it’s just going to make you feel old when you find out that Eggslut opened 6 years ago (and closed shortly after, lmao).

Make sure to drop us a follow on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X to stay updated on all our content!
