We want to let you in on a little secret that’s tucked away in Wadi Qannoubine. Abou Joseph, a restaurant located at the very bottom of the valley, is actually one of our favorite gems.
You might know Abou Joseph from their Jbeil branch, but did you know how they started out back in 1995?
Next time you’re planning a Bcharri trip, make sure you have Abou Joseph as your lunch stop. A serene destination at the bottom of Wadi Qannoubine, the restaurant is a great way to disconnect while getting the chance to enjoy some delicious food.

An adorable family actually runs this restaurant that is making arguably the yummiest Lebanese bites. From delectable mezza to irresistible platters of la7me nayye, this spot is a must-visit.
It might be difficult to find this spot, but there are some locals that can help you reach the destination by taking you down the dirt road! Or you can just turn it into a hiking adventure and find your way down. Don’t worry, you won’t get lost.

A spot that embodies what a typical Lebanese lunch looks like, you’ll fall in love with its homey feel and gorgeous view. The family-run business has all the recipes down to a T, and you’ll find yourself devouring everything in sight as soon as it’s on your table.
Perfectly struffed wara2 3enab, delicious batata harra, fresh tabboule and fattoush, mouthwatering mashewe and platters of raw meat that will make you never want to leave. Abou Joseph is definitely worth the trip.
Some of the best bites on their menu include their kebbe 2ras, as well as the generous raw meat offerings.
Top it off with a cold glass of Arak and you’ll feel like you’re on top of the world…at the bottom of the valley.
Yes, we know their second branch might be closer…but the experience their original branch is just so much better. Perfect for a family lunch outing, or even a day of adventuring with your friends in the north.
For more information, you can check out their Instagram. You can also give them a call on 03 799 269 (Wadi Qannoubine) or 03 798 269 (Jbeil). Sahten!
