We’re always on the lookout for places that won’t break your bank, especially if you’re looking for a yummy bite to eat. Saida’s beloved sandwich spot just landed in Mar Mikhael, so let’s put you on.
Submarine is for every person who loves Lebanese snacks. Cheesy fajita sandwiches, flavorful Philadelphias, Lebanese burgers – the kind of street food every Lebanese person craves when they’re really hungry. They just hit all the right spots.
They’ve been in the sandwich business for about three years now, so they decided to bring their bites to Beirut. And no, their sub isn’t the only thing on their menu that is worth your while.
The sandwich that gets lots of love is the fajita, and we can see why. It’s probably one of the cheesiest we’ve ever seen. Every fajita fanatic knows that not having enough cheese in a fajita is an absolute dealbreaker.
And apart from their mouthwatering fajita, they offer anything and everything. From Lebanese faves like tawouk, escalope, rosto, and sojok, to messy must-haves like the Mexican, Fransisco, Zinger burger, and their signature submarine.
Since we managed to pay them a visit, these are our top picks off their menu: the fajita (of course), smashed burger, supreme, honey mustard fajita, and Fransisco.
Though they have the classic taste everyone loves about Lebanese snacks, there’s actually something different about their flavors. Their chefs refused to let us in on their secret, but any sandwich lover would be able to tell that their offerings stand out compared to other joints.
Now let’s talk about the price. An average of about $5 per person. In fact, all their sandwiches are under 600,000LBP – and the most expensive thing on their menu is the 6-piece crispy platter, which is 700,000LBP. You’re getting quite the bang for your buck.
And it doesn’t matter when those cravings hit because their doors are open from 1 PM until 3 AM.
They’re located right next to Bodø in Mar Mikhael. But if you’re bad with directions, just click here for the exact location.
Make sure to drop this sandwich spot a follow on Instagram if you want your feed flooded with saucy goodness. For more information, you can give them a call on 81 760 053 (Mar Mikhael) or 71 760 313 (Saida).
