Hidden Gem Alert: an Island Restaurant Off the Coast of Jbeil

Have you even heard of this hidden gem? Bourj Al Fidar is an island restaurant off the coast of Jbeil, built on rock formations just a few meters from the shore.

You can reach this gorgeous gem by crossing a bridge connecting it to the mainland until you reach the restaurant. Its island-like appeal makes it a unique dining experience that combines our love for seaside bites and gorgeous views.

This restaurant has been around for quite some time (a good forty years or so), and we’re disappointed that we didn’t discover it sooner.

And it only makes sense that a place like this serves traditional Lebanese food. Feast on your favorite dishes, alongside platters of fresh seafood, all while enjoying the soothing sound of the waves.

The spot is perfect for a family lunch, or maybe even a romantic sunset dinner with a loved one. It’s spacious enough to accommodate large families and groups of friends, so you might also want to consider it for any special occasions.

The best thing about this place is that it allows you to indulge in all the pleasures of a Lebanese summer. You can spend the day lounging by the shore and then cool off with a dip in the sea before you head over to the restaurant and chow down on delectable Lebanese cuisine.

Bourj Al Fidar is a gem we’ll definitely be frequenting this summer. For more information, check out their Instagram or reach out on +961 3 607 008.
