This Lebanese Woman Saved Over 200 Animals In Lebanon!

Not all heroes wear capes, but some of them really love animals. Sandra is an animal lover who has made it her mission to save stray animals and show them the unconditional love they deserve until they find their forever home. So far, she saved over 200 animals in Lebanon!

A disheartening trend appeared following the economic crisis in Lebanon, as many pet owners began abandoning their animals and leaving them stranded on the streets.

Frustrated by the number of animals left abandoned, Sandra decided to dedicate her life to rescuing them. That meant quitting her job, building a shelter, and spending her days taking care of the rescues. This led to her kickstarting Paws Crossed, and she is currently housing over 25+ dogs and 50+ cats!

Sandra is also the brilliant mind behind Furry Taxi, which is a taxi service for your pets in Lebanon.

Many of her rescues were also adopted by Sip and Purr Cat Café in Wisconsin, where they save cats from all over the world to help them find a loving home (and keep coffee goers company!).

Popular animal lovers page The Dodo recognized her efforts and applauded her for her heroic work. The page has over 11 million followers, so hopefully Sandra will be able to get more help and raise funds to take care of her furry friends!
