The extraordinary Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika dropped a breathtaking new collection for Spring 2024, and this season’s theme was the Goddess of Love. Though Hobeika stunned crowds with the spectacular designs (as usual), what really stood out was how he turned the Baalbek ruins into a runway for his recent drop.
The sophisticated Hobeika-esque designs appeared to be heavily inspired by the colossal Roman ruins. The intricate details resemble the ornamentation on the temple’s pillars and the brilliantly structured nature of the ancient complex.
Hobeika is the first designer to showcase his collection in Baalbek, honoring the blend of modern fashion with ancient architectural heritage.
The Lebanese designer, as always, has been making heads turn with his stunning pieces. Back in August, Hobeika dressed the Queen Bey herself for a stage on The World Renaissance Tour. The performer dazzled in a beautifully beaded pink gown and headpiece.
Lebanese designers will never fail to amaze us with their endless creativity and perfect execution.
