Sarah’s Bag has turned heads yet again, this time on a mega-global scale.
After collaborating with Mastercard on a collection that was sold at Expo 2020 Dubai, this incredible local business has now released a bag in collaboration with French luxury brand, Chloe.
The team over at Sarah’s Bag undertook the task of reimagining Chloe’s iconic Woody Nano tote, creating an adorable design completely in crochet. The bag was sold out within hours of being dropped.
Founded in 2000 by Sarah Beydoun, Sarah’s Bag is a social enterprise that supports the community by providing jobs for female prisoners and other underprivileged individuals in Lebanon. The label aims to empower women who wear their pieces, as well as the incarcerated women who make them, in a bid to reintegrate them into society and deem them valuable members of their communities.
Note that the funds generated by the label in collaboration with female prisoners will be used to improve prison conditions. Congratulations!
