Anjar Ecopark: Lebanon’s First National Forestry Park

An incredible new space with an amazing initiative to boot!

Introducing Anjar Ecopark, an exceptional new project implemented by the Lebanon Reforestration Initiative in partnership with the Municipality of Anjar and funded by USAID.

With access to the Anjar ruins, a forestry information center that will teach you all about the reforestation efforts, and an outdoor kitchen, this is an incredible space for both adults and kids.

At the park, you can enjoy a variety of activities ranging from biking and hiking to strawberry picking. As for meals, you can enjoy a traditional Armenian meal at their outdoor kitchen.

Anjar Eco-Park is a model for natural resources conservation, environmental awareness, and sustainable rural economic development.
