Minister Of Information Criticized For Prioritizing Press For COVID Vaccine

Our government never fails to terrify and amuse us when it comes to taking important decisions. This was taken to the next level when a televised interview with Minister of Information in Lebanon’s caretaker government Manal Abdel Samad revealed that she believes that media personnel and reporters should be the priority when receiving the new coronavirus vaccine.

It was unclear whether Abdel Samad was pandering for popularity or not, but
here were some of the reactions of Lebanese twitter:

We know who really deserves priority:

Some had a few jokes up their sleeve

While others got real with her suggestion

Here’s a thought, maybe the priority should go to those who are on the front lines like healthcare workers? Or the elderly with health issues? Just a thought.
