The French bistro that made a name for itself with its unique interiors, scrumptious menu, and its tasty steaks announced in a heartbreaking Instagram post that it will be temporarily closing its doors in Dbaye and Gemmayze.
“Because we refuse to give up our business ethics, abuse our customers’ trust, and uncontrollably raise our prices, we are closing all our stores until further notice. We are in this crisis together. #WeAreHereToStay,” read the post.
This announcement appears to be a form of a strike against the ever-increasing price of the dollar which has made it impossible for companies to price their goods at a profit due to the dwindling value of the Lebanese Lira.
It is unclear what the state’s economic plan is at this moment in time.
Do you think they will ever open again?
