Lebanese Man Runs Across Lebanon And Breaks Guinness World Record

Ali Wehbe likes to think of himself as an adventurer. And recently, he took his love for adventure to a whole new level.

Wehbe recently broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest crossing of Lebanon on foot. He ran across the country in 1 day 15 hours and 49 minutes.

He began his journey on the last day of March, to finally reach his destination in Naqoura 40 hours later on World Autism Awareness Day – a day when much of the country’s landmarks that he ran past were lit up in blue to spread awareness for the condition.

Passing through Tripoli, Beirut, Saida, and Sour, Wehbe ran through the entire country, successfully making his mark in the Guinness World Records and adding yet another record for Lebanon.
