Here Are All The Lebanese Nationals Named In Forbes’ Arab 30 Under 30 List

Did you know that over 60% of the Arab region’s population is under the age of 30? Those who are most successful of that bunch not only stand out in the region but in the entire world. Forbes Middle East’s Arab 30 Under 30 list was released yesterday, and the list is quite impressive indeed. From artists, designers, entrepreneurs, celebrities, and intellectuals, here are the eight Lebanese nationals who made it onto the list, mentioned according to their placement on the Forbes list.


1. Nicolas Zaatar, 24



Zaatar is the Co-founder and CTO of NAR, a startup that makes drone-based software solutions to detect defects in industrial applications. Zaatar graduated from LAU with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.


2. Hussein Bazaza, 27



Having previously worked with famed designers like Rabih Kayrouz and Elie Saab, Bazaza created his own clothing line in 2012 and has since dressed a wide array of international celebrities and public figures, including Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan.


3. Mark Chahwan, Jad Sayegh, 26



This Lebanese duo along with Nadine Mezher founded a wealth advisory service, Sarwa, in 2016. Sarwa gives personalized suggestions to customers based on their financial backgrounds.



4. Jawad Fares, 26



Fares is a doctor and medical researcher, who’s most notable research is centered around injuries from cluster munitions, types of bombs that release smaller bombs once they have exploded.



5. Ray Dargham, 27



Dargham is the Co-founder of Step Group, which hosts an annual two day tech conference in the U.A.E, attended by thousands of the leading tech stakeholders in the region.



6. Eve Tamraz Najjar, 28



With a PhD in Neurosciences, Najjar Founded Sensio Air, a patented air quality assessment machine that identifies allergens like pollen and other types of allergens in real-time.



7. Elissa Freiha, 27



Emirati, Lebanese, and American, Freiha graduated from the American University of Paris and later founded WOMENA, a Dubai-based angel group which collects money and invests in startups. Her vision for WOMENA sparked from a desire to close the gender disparity gap in regards to wages in the Middle East.
