The 8 Places You Absolutely Must Eat At In Tripoli
Other than Tripoli’s stunning scenery, extremely-friendly residents, and diverse culture, this Northern Lebanese city is also a hub for the tastiest multi-cuisine restaurants that will cater to any mood you’re in. Check out a couple of our favorite restaurants in Tripoli that you need try next time you’re up north!

Technically not in Tripoli, but just at the right of the city’s entrance, this family-run Italian restaurant is a must-try. Founded in 1990, the interior of the restaurant boasts a true Italian experience with beautifully-painted ceilings. Be sure to request to be seated along the window side, where you will enjoy the a stunning view of the sea. Not only are their dishes delicious, but they come in generous servings too.
Check the out the major crowd-pleaser, the Fettuccini Americano con Funghi.
And the creamiest Tortellini Chicken Mushroom.
The Chicken Spinaci with cheese is also one of our favorites.
And recently they’ve opened a cafe on the roof, which has the most delicious desserts to cater to that sweet tooth.
This urban cafe with a touch of green is the perfect relaxing spot for a brunch or a quick lunch, and it’s also a calm place for working during the day. Their menu is very diverse, with different options of salads, sandwiches, burgers, plates, desserts, and drinks!
The Turkey and Brie sandwich is an absolute favorite of mine.
They also have a killer breakfast menu!
And the tastiest salads; my favorite is the avocado salad.
No one does mezza and mashewe in Tripoli like Baytna does! Their kebbe nayye and kebbe mishwiyye aren’t the only things that will keep you coming back, as the ambiance of the restaurant is very homely and welcoming.

This cute little pizzeria opened only 4 years ago, but we’re so glad it did! Una Pizza serves authentic Neapolitan pizza, along with other Italian dishes. They have their oven set outside so that the customers can be involved in the food-making process!
Established in 1946, this seaside restaurant offers the most delicious seafood in town and boasts a gorgeous view of the sea and the islands in front of Al Mina. I always hear stories from my parents’ about how, back in the day, Silver Shore’s crowd and cuisine were top notch – and to this day, they still are!
You can ask any Tripolitan about this place, and they will tell you the menu, the waiters’ names, the tiling, and every single last detail. This family-run business managed to perfect the art of an authentic Lebanese breakfast, so if you ever feel like fatte or foul, this is your go-to place. When I go back to Tripoli on weekends, this place is my first stop on Saturday morning!
I don’t have to say much about this restaurant, because I think the name says it all. You haven’t really visited Tripoli, until you’ve tried the mafrouke from Hallab. I’m not really a big fan of Arabian sweets, but this place managed to lock me down.
