Midad Calligraphy Exhibition

Midad is Dar El-Nimer’s inaugural exhibition of material drawn from the El-Nimr collection.

Concerned with the historical development, sociopolitical implications and contemporary significance of calligraphy and the Arabic script, the exhibition presents extraordinary objects from the eighth to the twentieth centuries alongside new commissions from local artists.
