Update: ABC Verdun Is Almost Ready

In 2013, we told you that ABC is coming to Verdun and will be ready in 2017. Well, it’s 2017 and although it’s not 100% complete, it’s looking great so far!

The new shopping centre will be 6 floors tall, have 6000 square metres of entertainment and a large courtyard outside, all at the heart of Beirut.

Blog Baladi recently got a sneak peak into the new store and shared some pretty awesome photos of what’s going on!

Basically, it’s HUGE. He also reports that it’s going to create around 2,200 new job opportunities, which is incredible!

However, most restaurants and stores that are in ABC Dbayeh and Achrafiye are already present in Verdun in the 730 and 732 centres including Zara, Roadsters, Mango, Monsoon, Pinkberry etc. This makes us a hundred times more curious to find out what’s in store for this new ABC addition.

Our very wise predictions:

1. Grand Cinemas since they’re already present in Dbayeh and Achrafiye.
2. Starbucks, obviously.
3. A sushi restaurant, with open buffet at certain times and days.
4. A couple of shops that you will never be able to afford (even if you’ve been saving up since the announcement in 2013)
5. A parking lot that seems organised, but is always full.
