Lebanese People Can Visit These 36 Countries Without A Visa
You’ll notice there are lots of Islands. Lots and lots (we didn’t think it was actually possible to get bored of islands). However, there are also some European, African and Asian getaways that are not to be forgotten about! All those countries offer entry with a visa on arrival.
1. Armenia
From the hospitable people you meet, to the delicious restaurants, us Lebanese already feel acquainted with Armenian culture and people. However, visiting Armenia is completely different. You’ll be in awe at it’s beauty while not feeling too far away from home. This is one trip that we highly recommend.
2. Bolivia
Slightly further away in South America is this gem of a country that is home to the most indigenous people in the world. Exotic wildlife call Bolovia home, including monkeys with moustaches! Experience a new culture and the remarkable landscape in the city of Sucre which we highly recommend.
3. Cambodia
Cambodia is another natural paradise situated in South East Asia where you can experience ancient remains, scenic blue waters and enjoy the exciting Cambodian culture.
4. Cape Verde
That water says it all.

Not a painting, just a real African coast!
6. Djibouti
This African coastal country will leave you in awe at its beauty.
7. Dominica
You can enjoy Dominica’s heat in the ice blue, its famous boiling lake or the reggae vibe in the capital, Roseau, which is also known for it’s brightly coloured buildings.
8. Ecuador
Enjoy Ecuador’s unique architecture and magical churches in the city, or its natural beauty, including mountains, waterfalls and volcanoes.

You can’t get bored of Europe’s Georgia with plenty of things to do! Enjoy the old coastal town of Batumi, Narikala fortress, medieval churches in Tbilisi or better yet, go skiing in Europe’s less well known slopes of Gudauri.

Along with enjoying this underrated West African natural beach and beauty, you will feel at one with nature and wildlife by enjoying the hippo’s, turtles and other exotic creatures at the famous Bissagos Islands.
11. Haiti
Visit Haiti for a relaxing Carribbean holiday with the option to visit one of the mystical islands off the main coast. We recommend Île-à-Vache which is famous for its bright blue waters and incredible views.
12. Indonesia
Indonesia is one of South East Asia’s popular hotspots, attracting tourists looking for a relaxing getaway, or backpackers trekking through and intimately discovering the country. Home to the popular Bali, you can visit for the parties, the yoga retreats or simply to kick back and relax in one of the jaw-dropping resorts.
13. Iran
Iran may not be on the top of your vacation list, however, we do recommend it. You can enjoy the old Persian architecture, mouth-watering Iranian food and the incredible traditions.
14. Jordan
One of our safer neighbouring countries, Jordan is home to a whole bunch of treasures. From the dead sea, to the historic Petra, take a short plane ride from Beirut and find yourself transported to another world.
15. Laos
Laos is another great South East Asia destination. Known for its exotic beauty, history and nightlife, this is an enriching holiday destination for you and your friends. Make sure to visit the incredible temples situated around the country!
16. Madagascar
This is exactly where one of our favourite films came from, but why not visit this mesmerising island in real life to enjoy its tropical scenery and exotic animals while on a safari.
17. Malaysia
Enjoy this Oriental country’s history and architecture in the city, or, the tropical island and beaches.
18. Maldives
You’ll probably need to save up for a couple of decades, but the Maldives is on everybody’s bucket list for all the right reasons.
19. Mauritania
Go on a safari, enjoy the beach or a desert tour in this picture perfect West African country.
20. Mauritius
Mauritius is a paradise island situated in the Indian Ocean.
21. Micronesia
Yes, this is a real country. No, we hadn’t heard of it either before this list.
22. Mozambique
Beach, sun, sand = perfection.
23. Nepal
Nepal is home to ancient history and culture, as well as breath-taking views and mountains.
24. Niue
Luckily, Niue isn’t a well known holiday destination so why don’t we take advantage of this visa-free paradise before it gets all over Instagram. The Blairgowrie rock pools are a version of the Batroun caves (we still prefer Batroun!), and something we highly recommend.
25. Oman

This isn’t just random Arabs on camels, but home to incredible scenery. We recommend visiting the city of Salala for ice blue beaches and camping spots.
26. Palau
This island is situated in the Western Indian Ocean and is the sixth largest marine reserve.
27. Samoa
Another island, lucky us, situated in Polynesia
28. Seychelles
Honeymooners and lovers favourite destination, this beach holiday is a once in a lifetime trip that must be on your bucket list.
29. Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is known for its green beauty and natural setting so plan a trip to escape Beirut’s pollution.
30. Syria
‘ Although most of Syria has unfortunately become a war zone, Damascus is still a favourite for a weekend getaway for many Lebanese.
31. Tajikistan
Situated in Central Asia, this unlikely destination is every nature lover’s dream and includes mountains, lakes and even a “silk road” to explore.
32. Timor-Leste

Located in South-East Asia, visit Timor-leste for an eco friendly and green holiday, water activities such as snorkelling and fishing or simply for the beaches.
33. Togo
Explore the raw African culture in the small country of Togo.
34. Turkey
Though most parts of Turkey aren’t safe at the moment (does the Lebanese government want us all to die?) some places cannot be missed. Though we still do recommend doing intense research before planning a trip.
35. Tuvalu
You can dive and swim with turtles and tropical fish in this island situated in the South Pacific.
36. Uganda
Take a safari and explore the wild animals that roam Uganda’s national park or the Kibale forest.
