Tensegrity (Tensional Integrity) system is a system in a stable state of self-equilibrium, “using internal forces to overcome external forces”. This concept is applied to various types of architectural structures.
Biotensegrity is the application of the architectural principle of tensegrity to biological structures, thus creating stability and lightness in the body.
This workshop will explore how the structural foundation of the body is based on biotensegrity. Through experimental movement, you can learn how the principle of biotensegrity is applied in the foundations of oriental movement and improvisation.
This workshop includes movement, manual work, theoretical concepts and reflection.
