On the occasion of World Water Day, Byblos & Beyond will organize a hike in Kanat Akhwat Chanay in the Shouf area.

The hike will commence from the village of Kfarnabrakh, known for its natural beauty, overlooking deep gorges, green canyons and surrounded by fertile fields and terraces. During the hike, you will discover the story of Akhwat Chanay, a servant at Beiteddine Palace who gave the Emir Bachir Chehab II the idea of bringing water from Nabeh Al Safa to the village of Beiteddine.

You will finish the hike at the village of Beiteddine with an optional visit to the palace.

What to bring:
Walking shoes, a backpack, water, a light meal (sandwich, dried fruits,..), sunglasses, sunscreen, chapstick, a hat, a wind breaker (K-way) and a fleece jacket.
