MC El Sayyed Darwish and DJ Munaqresh at Radio Beirut

Radio Beirut is proud to introduce the co-founder of the Stronghold Sound label (USA) – Munaqresh/Dub Snakkr, along with El Sayyed Darwish from the group La Tlateh, in their first official appearance at RB.

They’ll be presenting music from work with Stronghold in San Francisco, Guinea, and more recently, from the much heralded Arab hip-hop compilation “Khat Thaleth/Third Rail” – also on Stronghold that includes a bevy of the best Arab hip-hop talent in the region and Diaspora. El Sayyed Darwish, one fo the three powerhouse emcees from the Syrian group, La Tlateh, will be doing old and brand new original tracks, as well as freestyle segments.

It’s sure to be an unforgettable night of music – spanning all manner of genres – including hip hop and dub influenced gems by Munaqresh himself.
