Art Gallery Reopens in Nabatieh With Tribute to South Lebanon

The art scene comes back to life in Nabatieh with the reopening of the beloved Nour Ballouk Gallery. The gallery, which opened in early 2024, closed its doors in October after it suffered damages from attacks on Nabatieh.

The city, heavily affected during last year’s war, now turns a page with a new season of art. The first exhibition, titled “The Heart Beats South,” pays tribute to the spirit of South Lebanon and its artists.

It celebrates the talent, strength, and light of a community that continues to rise after hardship. Visitors can expect a moving experience filled with emotion, pride, and a deep love for the South.

The exhibition will include a line-up of the following local artists:

– Abdel-Hamid Baalbaki

– Adel Kodeh

– Oussama Baalbaki

– Youssef Aoun

– Darwiche Chamaa

– Fatat Bahmad

– Hussein Hussein

– Adeeb Farhat

– Kawthar Ballouk

The gallery invites everyone to reconnect with beauty, culture, and the enduring heartbeat of the region. “The Heart Beats South” will be open until May 30, 2025, by appointment.
