Did anyone else notice a smell of fresh bakes taking over Saifi recently? Early birds will be happy to learn that there’s a new bakery in Beirut called Dupain, and it’s a must-visit for anyone looking to discover a charming new spot in the city.
The new bakery, now open right across from the Charles Debbas Park and around the corner from Meat the Fish, brings a modern twist to the iconic Parisian bakery style.
Minimalistic and smelling of freshly baked bread and pastries, Dupain might just be every morning person’s dream. Inside, you’ll find shelves stacked with baguettes and crusty sourdough loaves, as well as a display of some of the yummiest pastries we’ve ever seen.
Croissants, tarts, cakes, cookies, and traditional French viennoiseries are made fresh daily!
The name “Dupain” is used in French to refer to traditional bread, so the bakery is likely a celebration of French baking traditions.
The bakery also boasts outdoor seating, so you can enjoy a coffee and a few bites of their pastries while you do some people-watching on those relaxed Beirut mornings.
This new bakery is perfect for early birds who love to enjoy quiet Beirut mornings. On sunny days, we highly recommend grabbing a seat outdoors. Spend the day to soaking in the warmth and charm of the city while enjoying your fresh pastries.
If there’s anything we’ll never get enough of, it’s discovering cute new coffee spots and bakeries! We’re not sure what’s exactly on the menu at Dupain in Beirut, but you can visit and find out. Make sure to follow them on Instagram for more!
