Good News! Special Needs Rescue Dog Lufy Finally Finds Family

Let’s start off your day with some amazing news. Lufy, the one-year-old special needs rescue dog who melted hearts around the world last week, has finally been adopted! The partially paralyzed Bichon Frise now has a family to call his own.

The Sahara Kennel Rescue in Dubai posted his pet portraits mid-March, which immediately went viral. The comments were flooded with heartwarming messages expressing nothing but love for this adorable pup.

Here are some of the comments under his pet portraits:

Although people from all over the world applied to adopt Lufy, the kennel limited applications to within the UAE to ensure his medical needs could be properly met. Thankfully, he just started his adoption trial with a loving family!

This is the update we didn’t know we needed. We hope the family decided to start an Instagram account for Lufy so we get constant updates.

If you’re based in the UAE and want to give a pet a forever home, make sure to check out the Sahara Kennel Rescue on Instagram! They created an adoption process that matches pets to loving families interested in providing safe, supportive homes—especially for special needs dogs and cats like Lufy who need a second chance.
