This Lebanese Girl Is Starting a Vintage Marketplace So She Can Move to Lebanon!

In case you haven’t spotted Aya on your For You Page yet, we’re here to tell you about her mission to move back to Lebanon. She wants to create an online marketplace in Lebanon where people can buy and sell all the coolest vintage finds. Her goal? To convince her parents to move back to Lebanon with her successful business.

Aya’s calling it Archif, and she’s documenting her journey on TikTok to share the highs and lows of starting a new business.

What Inspired Archif?

With no Vinted or Depop in Lebanon, Aya spent hours scrolling through Instagram, struggling to find vintage clothing in her size and style. That frustration sparked the idea for Archif.

But she faces two big challenges: she’s never lived in Lebanon, and she has no background in fashion or tech.

What Does Aya Aim To Do With Her Content?

Aside from launching her business, Aya hopes to inspire others to chase their dreams and start their own ventures, no matter the obstacles.

Who would’ve thought someone with no fashion or tech background would create an app? On top of that, she’s based abroad, so she’s studying the Lebanese market to perfect her plan.

If you’ve been thinking about starting your own business, consider this your sign to take the leap. Want to support Aya on her journey to launching Archif, an online vintage marketplace in Lebanon? Make sure to follow her on TikTok and Instagram!
