1. GOU, Gemmayze

The new Japanese deli has the perfect vibe to meet up with your friends and spend the evening talking sh*t. Whether you’re stopping by for a sip-and-yap session or craving a side of guac dip with your gossip, this is the spot for you.

But if a matcha latte isn’t the kind of sip you’re going for, did you know they have a matcha vodka? Their Matcha Dream is a mix of vodka, matcha, ginger ale, fresh ginger, and lemon.

2. El Pastor, Gemmayze

For those are more into the nightlife vibe, El Pastor brings that Mexican feel to the heart of Gemmayze. Obviously, you have to order their guacamole and corn tortilla chips. Who would even go out to a Mexican gem without ordering guacamole?

And if the guacamole dip isn’t enough, you can also munch on a plate of elotte, which is basically grilled corn topped with parmesan crema, feta, cilantro, and green onion. Also, a margarita or two won’t hurt.

3. East Village, Badaro & Achrafieh

This beloved eatery is for those who prefer quieter spots to sip, eat dip, and yap. Dimly lit, super cozy, and on the quieter side, East Village offers the perfect ambiance to unwind with friends and enjoy a chilled-out evening or a low-key chat.

They have three dips on their menu that are perfect for a long yap session. Although they have great guac dip, we recommend their spinach and artichoke dip (which is what their chef will probably recommend as well!).

4. Malibou, Saifi

Depending on the type of tea you’ll be spilling, Malibou offers a vibrant setting that’ll keep your spirits high and your smiles wide. With its lively atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to eat dip and share your gossip.

Like East Village, they have three different dips on their menu: the Malibou green feta, beetroot, and eggplant. If you’re a group, we recommend ordering two dips. Besides, they look super cute and Instagrammable.

If you’re looking for a hidden gem to uncover in Beirut, then this is the place for you. Agora is a charming garden café, restaurant, and bar that offers the perfect setting for good conversation and great company.

Apart from their creamy Holy Guacamole, their star dip comes with a Lebanese twist! Their take on the Lebanese classic hummus is made with a blend of truffle oil, topped with crispy mushrooms and roasted cauliflower, and served with toasted ciabatta.

This café, restaurant, and bar is one of Badaro’s most vibrant hidden gems. If you’re looking for somewhere you definitely won’t run into anyone you know, then we recommend SuperVega.

Their crackers and dip feature eight crispy olive oil crackers served alongside hummus pesto, beetroot muhamarra, and whipped feta dips. A great shareable to snack on while you get to business. You can also treat yourself to one of their perfectly crafted cocktails for an extra kick.
