This Lebanese Snack in Beirut Has the FUNNIEST Menu Ever

If you frequent Hamra, you’ve probably heard of Snack 3al Lebnene. This Lebanese snack is known for serving up everything we love and always crave, including extra crispy sandwiches, fajitas, tawouk, and more. But one thing we can’t get over is their menu because it’s HILARIOUS.

We don’t know who they assigned to name the items on their menu, but they need a raise immediately. They’re effortlessly funny, and we’re sure whoever is ordering a bite for their lunch break will also get a few laughs.

Here are some highlights from their menu (which you can check out here):

For breakfast:

“Beid meshwe mrattab” and most importantly, mesh ma7roo2

The “kamshet banadoura” and “zi7 zeit zaytoun 3a zaw2ak” sounds exactly like how we’d order it.

“Labneh baladiye msh Bonjus”

“Labneh mda3bale”

For lunch:

“Tawook a2wa mn el malek”

Living for the drama, honestly. We’d love to do a taste test comparing both.

“3elbet batata” eno chou bdo yeje ma3a gher el ketchup?

Real. We respect the hustle of adding descriptions to everything on their menu.

For dessert:

“Halawa ekht el be2lewa”

So…halawa seda.

We absolutely love how creative the menu is, and it’s very on brand! It feels like an authentic Lebanese snack, so we guarantee it’s Lebanese dad-approved. Lebanese dads would probably find the menu just as funny.
