After sustaining severe structural damage during the August 4 blast, the Four Seasons Hotel in Beirut closed its doors to undergo reconstruction. Though the hotel initially announced plans to reopen in 2022, unforeseen delays pushed the timeline further. Now, the iconic luxury destination has confirmed it will reopen in 2026.
According to Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Co., which oversaw the hotel’s construction, the Four Seasons Beirut will be entirely reconstructed and refurbished, with plans to reopen in the first quarter of 2026.
The announcement came after what the chairman called “a new era for Lebanon.” He also promises to transform the hotel into “one of the best urban resorts in the world.”
