Naranori: Beirut’s Newest Sushi Pop-Up

Sushi lovers, tasty hand rolls and flavorful bowls await at this new sushi spot in the city! Naranori is Beirut’s newest sushi pop-up, located in Starco, Downtown Beirut.

From the same creative minds behind Meat the Fish, The Backburner, and more, Naranori has evolved from being a delivery-only concept—with occasional appearances at Meat the Fish—into a vibrant physical pop-up. Their decor is undeniably charming, featuring adorable duckling-shaped chopstick holders and playful quotes on its walls.

Treat yourself to a tasty hand roll paired with a glass of their Japanese sake for a light afternoon bite, but don’t expect to leave this pop-up feeling satiated (depending on how much you’re willing to spend). But it’s great place for Japanese nibbles like fresh sashimi and perfect maki rolls!

Their donburi (which is a Japanese rice bowl dish) are the stars of their menu, serving up meticulously prepared bowls of salmon, hamachi, or bluefin tuna.

If you’re wondering about the cost of a trip to Naranori, it leans toward the pricier side. At most sushi spots, a 3-piece sashimi order averages around $6, but at Naranori, a single piece of sashimi is priced at $4. Their donburi prices range from about $42 to $52.

So if you want to treat yourself to high-quality hand rolls and rice bowls, then you can definitely try their pop-up! We’re not sure for how long they’ll be in Starco, but make sure to check out their Instagram for updates.

They’re open daily from 12 PM until 10 PM.
