Friends of Lebanon’s first responders thought they’d extend their support to the Lebanese Civil Defense. They started a fundraiser to help them secure funds for a new fire truck.
The Ras Beirut Civil Defense Station (Station 100) urgently needs a new fire truck after their main engine broke down. The station’s ability to respond to emergencies has been significantly impacted, relying on a small, insufficient fire truck. This has delayed their response to emergencies, especially following the devastating enemy raids against Beirut.
The Ras Beirut Station has played a critical role in emergency response, offering emergency care, firefighting, and rescue services across Beirut and its suburbs. However, their team has been unable to operate at full capacity.
