If you’re in the anime community and don’t know Alejandro Saab, let put you on this talented voice actor who is part Lebanese. You’re probably more familiar with him than you realize.
Who is Alejandro Saab?
As an English voice actor, Saab has brought to life some of our favorite characters. His standout roles include Gabimaru in Hell’s Paradise, Miyamura in Horimiya, Cyno in Genshin Impact, and Jing Yuan in Honkai: Star Rail.
He has a knack for choosing incredible roles (our personal favorites being Gabimaru and Miyamura), but let’s tell you a little bit about this guy.
Alejandro Saab was born on November 15, 1994, in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador. In one of his tweets, he mentioned that he’s “part Lebanese and Cuban”. Though he doesn’t detail where the Lebanese part comes from, we’re assuming that someone from his family immigrated from Lebanon.
How did he get into voice acting?
Saab discovered his passion for voice acting in high school. His first major role was as Drake in Fairy Tail, kickstarting his career.
In July 2021, he got engaged to fellow voice actor Hayden Daviau. The couple married in 2022, sharing a love for the industry. How cool is it to be married to someone who shares your interests?
Outside of acting, Saab ran a YouTube channel called KaggyFilms. On this channel, he shared anime-related content, building a strong fan community.
