Another Lebanese Barber Is Offering Free Haircuts to the Displaced!

Another touching story from the heart of Beirut. Lebanese barber Kristie Rahal has been visiting different areas in Beirut to support the displaced with what she does best: haircuts!

Her mission is to uplift the displaced, giving light trims or completely new looks to children, adults, and the elderly. As she works on their hair, she listens to their stories, and offers them a sense of normalcy and camaraderie amidst such challenging times.

And apart from giving them fresh trims or dye jobs, Rahal spends her day with displaced children, entertaining them with coloring books and fun activities.

Supporting local initiatives for emergency relief is crucial, but sometimes it’s the simple acts of kindness that leave the deepest impact. Rahal is simply sharing her skills and doing what she loves, bringing a moment of normalcy and smiles to the displaced with just a pair of scissors and her barber’s touch.

“It takes nothing to make someone happy.”

Rahal isn’t the first barber to bring her skills to the streets. Reda Mroueh, a barber from the southern village of Zrarieh, is also uplifting the displaced with free haircuts. Their actions have inspired many to participate.
