After a 5-year hiatus, Lebanon’s Future TV, founded by former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri back in 1993, is making a comeback.
Hussein Wajeh, media advisor to former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, announced the return of Future TV on X (Twitter), stating that the channel’s website and social media platforms are now active.
Future TV halted operations back in October 2019, citing financial difficulties. Their return was clearly not on anyone’s 2024 bingo card, prompting a series of hilarious reactions to the news. Here are some highlights from X:
