Lebanese Dentist Turns His Clinic into Soup Kitchen for the Displaced

Lebanese dentist Dr. Ali Jrady decided to turn his dental clinic in Saida into a soup kitchen that provides hot meals for the displaced families that resettled in the city.

Dr. Jradi, who dedicated his life to treating people, is now extending his compassionate care to those in need by transforming his clinic into a soup kitchen. He has recognized the urgent need to support displaced families with basic necessities, including daily meals.

Relatives, neighbors, and fellow healthcare providers have stepped in to help prepare the meals from his clinic. The initiative started off with distributing sandwiches, but it is now delivering approximately 300 meals a day thanks to the financial and in-kind donations from the community.

As his initiative garnered significant support, many locals were inspired to contribute and help as many displaced families as possible.

The clinic has evolved into a hub of community support and resilience. It provides a space where individuals can connect, collaborate, and find support during these challenging times.
