Lebanese Barber Uplifts Displaced Families with Free Haircuts

In the midst of turmoil, a Lebanese barber from Zrarieh, South Lebanon is offering a much-needed sense of comfort to families displaced by war. Reda Mroueh has been visiting shelters housing displaced families to provide free haircuts.

Apart from providing a sense of normalcy amidst the war and hardships of forced displacement, his visits have been filling shelters with joy and relief.

In a recent video, he stressed that the upkeep of personal hygiene, especially hair, is very important for the prevention of the spread of diseases in close quarters, among other health issues like lice.

Mroueh calls on fellow barbers who would like to join his initiatives as he visits shelters filled with displaced families. If you want to support his efforts, you can reach out to him via Direct Message on his Instagram.

His efforts serve as a source of comfort for the displaced, demonstrating that even during difficult times, small gestures can make a big difference.
