Heartbreaking Video Shows Destruction in Yaroun, South Lebanon

A video featuring aerial footage released by the IOF documented the extensive destruction of the border village of Yaroun in the Bint Jbeil district. A second video posted by Mazen Farah revealed the southern village before and after the devastation.

Yaroun’s mosque was destroyed by the occupation just a few days ago. The town recently endured 650 airstrikes and artillery shelling on most of its 1,100 homes. This scene has been repeated in all Lebanese border towns, which have experienced violent bombardment leading to extensive devastation.

Other areas, such as Aita ash-Shab, Blida, Aitroun, Adaisseh, and Kfarkila, have been left barren by the bombardment.

According to Lebanon’s Disaster Risk Management Unit, Israeli attacks on Lebanon have exceeded 9,200 since October 8, 2023. The attacks have primarily been targeting South Lebanon, the Bekaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
