Zahlan Grotto in Denniyeh: A Hidden Gem That You NEED to Visit

Yes, we’ve all heard of Jeita Grotto, and most of us have visited this natural wonder in Lebanon. But did you know there’s another breathtaking grotto further north that everyone should know about: Zahlan Grotto in Denniyeh!

We decided to plan a roadtrip to Denniyeh so that we can see what this natural wonder was about, and it did not disappoint. Here’s how our experience went:

Your trip to Zahlan Grotto will be quite the experience. To reach it, you have to cross two rope bridges, so you’re kickstarting your trip with an adventure and an amazing view of the valley.

Zahlan Grotto

Excavations uncovered remnants from the Stone Age, and the cave walls are covered in writings left by villagers who sought refuge there during the war. You’ll have to visit and hear the full story from the guides, who we’re sure can tell you about the history far better than we ever could.

After leaving the grotto, you’ll find so many other cool sights to see! Like the giant structures that would make for really awesome photos. And there’s also a local restaurant that you can stop by when you get hungry. Make sure to watch our entire vlog to see what awaits!
