Celebrate National Dabke Day this Sunday in Maasser El Chouf!

Dabke is probably one of the many things that Lebanese people are absolutely obsessed with. But you don’t need a wedding to enjoy it. How about you celebrate National Dabke Day with a huge event happening this Sunday in Maasser El Chouf?

This Sunday, August 11th, the Jabalna festival is bringing you an amazing cultural experience that will combine everything we love about Lebanon. From 9 AM until 11 PM, enjoy all the handmade crafts, traditional bites, the food and mouneh market, and of course – lots of dabke!

The highlights of this event include:

• A dabke workshop for the kids to teach them everything they need to know
• A Dabke show led by professionals who mastered the folkdance
• An exciting competition for professional troupes to partake in and show off their skills

Those who partake in the competition will get the chance to represent Lebanon at the “World Folklore Days” festival in Marrakesh. What a wonderful way to celebrate National Dabke Day, and the best part is that entrance is FREE!
